For me, life is not about pleasing a god\r\nor following rigid rules; it\u2019s about reducing suffering, increasing happiness,\r\nand treating people with dignity and kindness.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n<div>\r\n<p>\r\nI studied <strong>Public Administration<\/strong> (Honours and Master\u2019s) at\r\n<strong>Comilla University<\/strong> in Bangladesh. From a young age,\r\nI asked questions that many people around me found uncomfortable:\r\n<em>Why do we believe what we believe?<\/em>\r\n<em>Why do some people suffer more than others?<\/em>\r\n<em>Why are human rights often ignored in the name of religion?<\/em>\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\nOver time, through reading, reflection, and personal experience, I left religious belief\r\nand chose a humanist, atheist worldview. For me, life is not about pleasing a god\r\nor following rigid rules; it\u2019s about reducing suffering, increasing happiness,\r\nand treating people with dignity and kindness.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n<div>\r\n<p>\r\nI studied <strong>Public Administration<\/strong> (Honours and Master\u2019s) at\r\n<strong>Comilla University<\/strong> in Bangladesh. My academic background in\r\ngovernance, public policy, and ethics strongly shapes the way I think about\r\njustice, human rights, and social change.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\nOver the years I developed a personal humanist philosophy which I call\r\n<strong>\u201cPolin Religion\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 not a supernatural faith, but a\r\nlife-stance based on reason, compassion, and human freedom.
